How your season is decided
- 1Correct. Your white top or the wall is used as a white reference to remove the camera's color cast.
- 2Measure. Thousands of skin, hair and iris pixels are read in CIELAB, a perceptual color space, on the lit side of your face.
- 3Shortlist. Claude, Anthropic's vision model, reads the photo, the measurements and your answers, and ranks the three most likely seasons.
- 4Drape. Colors that separate those seasons are draped on your photo. You choose, and the AI judges the same pairs without knowing which season each color belongs to.
- 5Decide. Both verdicts are combined with the shortlist. If it's close, you see the runner-up.
What happens to your photo
- The photo check and measurements run on your device.
- Your photo is sent only to produce your analysis and previews.
- Never shared, never sold, never used to train AI models.
- Free analyses are deleted after 30 days.
- Reports are kept until you press Delete, which removes everything.
- The free tools on this site never upload your photo at all.

Questions, answered
Is the color analysis really free?
Yes. The questions, the photo check, the draping test, your season with its confidence and runner-up, and your best and worst colors on your own photo are free, with no signup and no email. The Full Color Report is an optional one-off purchase. There is no trial and no subscription.
How accurate is it?
More reliable than a single-photo guess, and honest about its limits. We remove your camera's color cast using your white top or wall, measure your skin, hair and eyes, ask the questions a professional asks, then run a draping test on your photo. When two seasons are close we say so and show the runner-up. Even professional analysts disagree on borderline cases, which is why we show the evidence.
What photo should I take?
A front-facing selfie in daylight, near a window but not in direct sun, with little or no makeup, hair off your face, wearing a white or light top. The app checks light, framing and color cast before analyzing and tells you exactly what to fix.
What happens to my photo?
It is used only for your analysis: never shared, never sold, never used to train AI. Free analyses are deleted after 30 days. If you buy the report we keep it so the report keeps working, and you can delete everything with one button.
Why not just ask ChatGPT?
A chatbot looks at one photo, can't correct your camera's color, and often gives a different season each time you ask. It can't drape colors on your face either. We measure, compare drapes and show our confidence.
Does it work for every skin tone?
Yes. The measurement reads your own coloring instead of comparing you to a reference face, and the draping test works the same on fair, medium and deep skin. Deep Autumn and Deep Winter are as real as Light Spring.
What is in the Full Color Report?
Your full palette with names and hex codes, every color draped on your photo, makeup shades and foundation undertone, hair color previews on your photo, outfits, a 10-piece capsule wardrobe, metals, prints and denim, and a PDF. It costs $29 once.
Can I get my money back?
Yes. Within 14 days, press the refund button in your report or email us. No questions asked, and it takes one click.
